This accurately described me when I first got into wine and the wine writers and critics didn’t make it any better.  What I have learned over the years is that most of the information, while helpful in some instances, can be too restrictive and claustrophobic.   (more…)

I was hesitant to release a video discussing Thanksgiving wines this year because this type of information is in full bloom this holiday season.  However, as the weather gets colder outside, I start to crave some heartier wines to compliment those comfort foods of the season. So, instead of Thanksgiving wines, I decided to put together this short video featuring my Fall and Winter wine line up.  These wines are great with just about any meal of the season and they are not budget busters.  I hope you will find something to put on your holiday wine list this year.  Cheers!
